The Star Entertainment Q4 EBITDA Loss Decreases

The Star Entertainment Group released its financial results on July 27, 2026, for the quarter ending June 30. The company recorded a narrowed EBITDA loss of AU$8 million (US$5.6 million) compared to the previous year.

Total revenue for the period reached AU$265 million (US$185.6 million), a slight decrease from the AU$270 million (US$189.1 million) recorded in the same quarter last year. The Star Sydney facility generated AU$150 million (US$105 million), down from AU$162 million (US$113.5 million) year-on-year.

The group attributed the decline in Sydney figures to softness in table games and non-gaming sectors. This reduction was partially balanced by increased revenue from electronic gaming machines.

Cash Reserves and Refinancing

The company concluded the quarter with AU$267 million (US$187 million) in cash. This liquidity follows a refinancing agreement secured in March with WhiteHawk Capital, valued at AU$390 million (US$273.1 million).
